This Privacy Policy describes the privacy practices of Riskbly, LLC., a South Carolina corporation (“we,” “our” or “us”) with respect to the software application Riskbly™, our website https://www.Riskbly.com, and any websites operated by us (collectively, the “App”). We are committed to protecting your privacy. Please read the following information to understand what information we collect from you and how we use that information. This Privacy Policy describes our collection, use, disclosure, and protection of your personal information collected or provided through our App and how we use personal information in connection with our services offered through the App (“Services”). We are committed to the protection of the privacy of your personal information provided to us. By using our App, Services, or providing us your personal information, you agree to this Privacy Policy and agree to be bound and abide by our Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any term in this Privacy Policy, do not provide us your personal information or use the App.

We may collect the following types of personal information about you through the App or from your insurance companies or independent insurance agents, including but not limited to:

  • Basic registration information, such as your name, address, telephone number, email address, user name, password, and other registration information.

  • When you use the App, you may also be asked to provide identification information to confirm your identity, including your first and last name.

  • You will be required to have an online account with your insurance companies and insurance agents. You will be required to provide personal information for them. Please see the privacy policies of your insurance companies and agents for information as to what personal information they collect and how it’s used. We do not collect any of the personal information you provide to your insurance company or insurance agent, except for the information described in this paragraph.

  • We may collect information about your interaction with our App such as your device type, operating system, average time spent on our App, unique identifiers, device IDs, app version, mobile network information, and mobile phone number.

  • We may request or receive other personal information such as feedback, questions, comments, suggestions, or ideas to provide you with other benefits or to improve upon the Service. In such instances, you will be given the opportunity to provide or decline that information.

 

Use of Personal Information

We use your personal information to:

  • Notify you with respect to the availability of our Services through personal information obtained from your independent insurance agent and insurance company;

  • Respond to your inquiries about our Services;

  • Fulfill your requests for our Services;

  • Analyze App usage and improve the Services provided through the App;

  • Alert you to software compatibility issues and to improve our App design and functionality;

  • Deliver to you any notices or alerts and communications relevant to your use of the Services;

  • Perform market research, product development, troubleshooting problems, analysis of user behavior, marketing, and promotions;

  • Detect and protect against errors, fraud, or other criminal activity;

  • Enforce our Terms of Use and as otherwise set forth in this Privacy Policy; and in connection with a merger, sale of substantially all of our assets, or corporate reorganization.

  • In order to allow you to use certain Services, we may be required to verify your identity. We may use your information to verify your identity in the event you contact us for assistance with the App or Services.

  • We may use your information to pre-fill form fields on the App for your convenience.

 

Disclosure of Personal Information

We may disclose your personal information to your insurance companies and agents as necessary to provide Services. Any information disclosed to your insurance companies will be subject to their privacy policies. We will disclose your personal information to your insurance agents, to provide them with data about App utilization. Any information disclosed to your insurance agents will be subject to each agency's privacy policies. We will not, without your permission, sell, publish, or share your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. Any third party with whom we share your data will provide the same or equal protection of user data as stated in this Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to share or disclose your personal information with law enforcement, government officials, and other third parties:

Aggregated data is considered non-personal information for the purposes of this Privacy Policy. If we do combine non-personal information with personal information the combined information will be treated as personal information for as long as it remains combined.

Pages of the App may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that permit us, for example, to count users who have visited those pages and for other related app statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain app content and verifying system and server integrity). You can review and change your personal information by logging into the App and visiting your account profile page. You may also send us an email at info@riskbly.com to request access to, correct, or delete any personal information that you have provided to us. We cannot delete your personal information except by also deleting your user account. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect. You may choose to delete your account for the Service at any time. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to remove your information, although some information may be retained on a backup server or media, which is necessary to help ensure continued availability of our Service. We retain your personal information as long as necessary to provide the Services you have requested. Additionally, we may retain personal information to comply with law, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, trouble shoot problems, enforce our Terms of Use, and as permitted by applicable law. We comply with applicable state and federal laws requiring secure disposal of records containing personal information of our customers. We maintain customer information for as long as needed. We take reasonable steps to destroy, or arrange for the destruction of a customers records containing personal information within our custody or control that is no longer required to be retained by us by shredding, erasing, or otherwise modifying the personal information in those records to make it unreadable or indecipherable through any means.

 

Minors

Our App and Services are not intended for minors or if you are not of a legal age to form a binding contract with us. We do not knowingly collect personal information from these individuals. If a minor (as defined by law) provides us with his/her personal information without parental or guardian consent, we encourage the parent or guardian to contact us to have this information removed and to unsubscribe the minor from future communications with us.
